As a rule of thumb, for a given number of reps rest intervals should be 60 - 80 % of the ones prescribed
for other bodyparts, the upper range being for stronger individuals.

other bodypart, training smart is the key
for developing a big pair of arms.
As you might have gathered from reading some of the stuff on this site, I'm a big fan of repurposing exercises
for targeting
bodyparts other than the ones
for which they're originally intended.
Because they're such unrelated
bodyparts, their getting rest while you're working the
others, so you don't need specific rest
for them.
Traps are great
for this because working them won't really interfere with any
other bodyparts you happen to be working.
