He just point a fact, the core
of the team are average british
players and yes the blame lays on Wenger first
for playing them
out of position with poor tactic but also by making them the first teamer when their level is not good enough to win big stuff.
Respect to Aaron
for stating a fact, Wenger make the fans criticize the
players because he force them in the team or
play them
out of position like wilsh and Ramsey.if Wenger would accept to rotate the
players every one would have
play time but he insists on
playing the same team again and again. He does it when we win and when we loose that why we are never consistent enough to win big trophies.
What's the point
of signing
players if they are going to be benched
for the big games or
played totally
out of position?

playing players out of position does not bode well
for players as they don't instil confidence in them and neither do they become accustomed to their
position well.
As regards our defense i won't blame the
players too much
for last night result, the manager is to be blamed
for not fully prepared and
playing players out of position, i think if the manager had called the
players in a week earlier than he did, Mustafi at least would have been fit to
play, but the result wasn't that bad as most fans make it seems..
Wenger has no tactics,
plays his favourite
players over better
players, gives long term contracts to average and injury prone
players, hates strong physical
players,
plays players out of position, always looking
for excuse like refrees and saying other teams
played more in pre season, does nt spend money on
players required like if we need strikers he will buy CAM, waits
for other teams to buy top
players and signs average on deadline day, calls accident when we lose, talks cohesion and mental strength when we beat terrible teams and win mickey mouse trophy like Asia cup and community shield.
Not spending when he should have & also
playing players out of position for starters diaby / santos / park / arshavin / squallaci / Silvestre his 30 + policy surely pires / viera / gilberto could have
played for us more & allowing cashley to leave.
I don't want to say this, but in the interest
of Arsenal's Ucl success over Barca, I want to say, if the Ucl attacking quality
of Barcelona's 4
players of, Suarez, Messi, Neymar and Rakitic will
play for Barca against Arsenal in both 2 legged ties, the Boss MUST consider the possibility
of upgrading the Arsenal's 2 CBs & DM
position with 2 or 3 top quality new additions
of a CB, DM and a striker to face Barca and knock them
out of this round
of 8 fixtures.
If Wenger continues
playing lots
of players out of position for every game, and ignoring consistent poor form, then I think finishing between 5th - 7th is fairly realistic.
Alexis came with a good spirit, seing Ozil on board, thinking a team would be built around them but year after year, it is no top class addition with a guessing game plan, weakness all over the pitch,
players out of position, a team scared to
play and lost as manager... Sanchez then started to ask more money, we said no as to Ozil; waiting 6 month later to be on last year contract... The all management is nuts and Alexis or any
players try until they get fed up, Ozil
plays to get fit
for wrld cup and his value back...
Now we have two defenders who from time to time have been shifted from one
position to another when
playing for the senior side, then I am sure any young
player will be upset
playing out of position.
(3) formation flexibility — it took 20 years
for Wenger to return to a back 3 and now he can't seem to choose anything but that formation... the teams in the premiership and those we could face in the Europa will present vastly different tactics and we need to have a manager who can prepare this squad
for this eventuality and have the fortitude to make the necessary adjustments throughout the season... I have seen nothing in the past 6 - 7 years to suggest that he is the man to take on this challenge... I can't even remember when he changed formations when he would replace a small, pacy striker, like during the Walcott experiment, with the lumbering Giroud...
of course this is exactly why there is no other manager in the world that
plays more
players out of their natural
positions (square peg in a round hole)
but a t some point he lost it, and is not because
of his stinginess to buy
players, our core is good and has been
for sometime now, his biggest problem was adaptation, change to the new EPL, his philosophy dating back 20 years does not work anymore and he knows it, because
of this his biggest flaw all others came
out to light, lack
of rotation
of his
players favoring some over others, stubbornness that applies to his transfer policy buying
for the future just as he had 20 more years ahead,
players playing out of their natural
positions, ARSENAL FLOPS who knows under other Managers they could have been great,
for some reason they were signed in the first place, they must had some talent, best example is Campbell....
If we start this season with those two in our starting 11 it will be a clear sign from this organization that nothing has changed and that we will never get it right until both Kroenke and Wenger are gone... neither one
of these
players should still be with our club at this point because they represent the settling half - measures that have plagued this team
for a number
of years... this is what I call the «no man's land»
of the soccer world, where teams don't have enough talented young
players, unlike a Monaco or Dortmund, because they have lost the plot from an organizational standpoint... they are so reliant on one individual to run the whole operation that their once relevant scouting department has become so antiquated that it can no longer find those hidden gems it once had... furthermore, when you leave all decision - making to a manager who despises any dissenting opinions, your management team becomes little more than a stagnant group
of «yes men» and no new ideas emerge... so instead
of developing a team with the qualities necessary to excel in a particular system, you continually make half - brain purchases year after year to stifle dissent from the ticket - buying public, then try desperately to finagle together a lineup regardless
of what would make positional sense... have you ever heard
of a team who
plays players out of position so often...
of course not because that manager would likely be fired and never work
for a team
of any consequence ever again

for no logical explanation.

for selling and not replacing where we need. Those last years he has added that to
playing players out of position, reducing the substitutions,

of favourite and refusing to adapt tactic to the opposition.
So
for a
player who's been
played out of position a bit and is coming back from injury, the signs are promising, hasn't lived up to the billing yet but is on his way.
1) On the pitch: - we always start 3 -4-3 but always switch back to a back 4... it isn't tactical as we look bad in both - Bellerin playibg LWB when you have the best in the bundesliga last season on the bench - Welbeck

Let's face it we can not disagree with Wenger that Ozil is a better
play maker than Ramsey as is Santi IMO, but we can question Wenger
for playing players out of position.
They could help us more by taking walcott and switch Lewandowski to us, and we'll give them Ramsey
for Alaba... thumb me down all you want but i ai nt saying this cus
of the goal he scored, he's the type
of player we need, bro can
play over 5
positions qnd with the way our
players get injured easily, Alaba will come
out handy add to that, he's world class so what else is remaining??
@Arsenal Fan And who buys the
players, selects them, works
out the tactics
for each game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Doesn't get rid
of the
players who are not performing, who fails to get the best
out of the
players and
plays them
out of position game after game??????? Come on get real!!!!!!
its not what these guys are used to they have
played with football greats like ronaldo and messi and you ask them to perform with
players like ox and welback we should change the way we think just sell these midocre
players that we keep on feeding sell them
out and one more thing i swear if even if i had a chance to
play this match on fifa i would never dare to
play players out of position for fuck sake we already lost against stoke due to
out of position defenders what is wrong with wenger
Wenger is also to blame
for making
players play out of position, sticking with the same
players and changing systems to many times.
Knowing that regular right back Dani Alves was soon on his way
out, they wanted to replace the Brazilian with a
player that like Alves, could
play the
position uncontested
for a number
of years.
Not if Wenger can help it: «It's
for their own good to
play players out of position» I remember him saying once.
So unless you conjure up a new formation or
play even more
players out of position then either Ramsey or Ozil are benched to make way
for Fabregas.
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch
of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except
for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all
of them have never shown any consistency
for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because
of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never
played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming
play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured
player to handle the taxing duties that come with said
position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention
of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then
played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped -
out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average
players who couldn't make any
of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford to have that many average
players on their bench
playing the same
position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as
for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure
of this club to provide him with the necessary
players up front, minus Sanchez
of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
Mertz should never have been our captain in the first place... who has ever heard
of a team that makes 11th hour transfer buys (Arteta & Mertz) then seemingly places those same individuals into prominent leadership
positions from the get - go... indicative
of the problems that have permeated our clubhouse
for the better part
of 7 years under the Kroenke & Wenger... what is wrong with the
players chosen and / or the management style
of Wenger that doesn't develop and / or encourage strong leadership from within... Mertz was the fine collecting lackey from year one... this is what happens when you don't get world - class
players because many times they want to have a voice on and off the pitch and this can't happen when you
play for a fragile manager who has developed a coddling wage structure where everyone is rewarded
for simply wearing the shirt and participating in the process... not enough balance between performance and pay, combined with the obvious favoritism shown to some
players regardless
of their glaring lack
of production... remember that Ramsey has
played in
positions that make no sense considering his skill - set (
out wide) and has forced other
players off the field or into equally unfamiliar
positions with little or no justification (let's remember when you read articles about how Ramsey's goals this upcoming season being the potential X-factor
for our success that this is the same individual who didn't score a goal until the final week last season)... this
of course is just one example
of many... before I hear another word from Mertz I want this club to address the fact that no former
player of any real consequence has any important role in the management structure
of this club, yet several former Gunners have expressed serious interest in just such an endeavor (Henry, Viera, Adams, Bergkamp... just to name a few legends)... there is only one answer: an extremely insecure manager!!!
I do nt think any fan would expect that from a new coach, but how about not
playing our
players out of position and repairing glaring holes that we have had
for some time now (The DM hole has been around
for almost a decade, the ST
position since RvP left).
Other top wide forwards that I like reus, Griezmann I think there best
position is On the left they are versatile but to get the best
out of players they need to be
played in there best
position and
For me the left wing is Alexis's.
Ffs arteta has been a decent
player, he took a paycut to join arsenal, he has
played out of position yet still returned the best statistics
for passing and tackling
for each
of the seasons he has
played bar this one.
I would like to tell arsenal fan that the transfer window is not arsenal's problem.Let explain what is in my mind.We need to reinforce our team but we need to think in the future that most
of the high class
players are going to refuse signing
for arsenal fc because
of Mr Wenger's philosophy. It looks like arsenal becomes cemetery
of players.How many
players came in and left because
of performance, became good
players out of arsenal. We need to accept all
of the transformation Mr wenger brings in arsenal but now it does not work. Why??? because lack
of tactics, strategies and pretending best
players for Mr wenger mind but in reality those
players do not get standard
of best player.Mr wenger wants to prove everybody that he is wright that
players who are calling by wenger are best.I means Mr wenger is the only one can see all matter in good
position or bad.He is wrong by thinking this way.He does not like criticism.he is the mind
of arsenal.Everything he can say or defend is wright.Think about morrinho comments about arsenal!!!! Why he likes to be arsenal coach!!!! One thing I want to say about arsenal
players, I think everybody watch arsenal games. We have got short mind
players who
play two good games and the rest shameless. They are working hard in the training ground
for catching Mr wenger's mind to let them
play; what is behind their (
players) mind to be the most regular
players.Those
players have no vision even ambition; they are never becoming high class and their carriers are going to finish in arsenal after arsenal we are going to see them
playing for championship. They do not care to become legend as Ian wright, Vierra, Berckam, piress, Henry... What is the big behind their mind to use wenger name to be selected in national team. They are not able to face different leagues in the world.
Mistamonn most
of the time his
playing players out of position is because we don't have the necessary depth
of players for each
position specially on the left, the team is always
out of balance he rely needs to buy W / C if not top
players in key
positions, last year i was commenting that we needed a striker before a class DM but i was so wrong, we first need the best DM that money can buy no mater how much then and only then we can look
for another class DM and a couple
of descent defenders.
the cheese eating surrender monkey has screwed up again we all know that now so we have to hope to get our real quality
players performing to full potential that is ozil sanchez wishere carzola... i am not sure there is a combo with all four and at this moment wilshere and sanchez are the only ones looking pretty decent and as wellbeck needs to be integrated those
positions are settled... i am a big ozil fan and really believe wenger is failing to get best
out of him by
playing him
out of position so cant we
play some kind
of diamond with him at the top feeding to a front line
of sanchez and wellbeck...
for me neither flamini nor arteta add anything to the team so i think
playing to attacking strengths is the only option right now... but its really a ridiculous state
of affairs we have been left in... throwing caution to the wind i would go
for
Why
play players out of position, chamberlains contribution was much more better than giroud
for 70 mins wenger u deluded old fart
Can someone in Arsenal impose to Wenger to buy a true DM and a new CB in January and makes him rotate the team, don t
play players out of position and give up the wish
of praise
for nurturing young (averages) british
players.
But
for me it has to be elneny, it's his natural
position, do not underestimate boro and lack respect by
playing players out of position.
Wenger might be at fault
for playing some
players out of position, but end
of the day he was not on the pitch and I think our
players need to take most
of the blame on this one,
Ofcorse it is, the injuries are to be blamed
for all Arsenal problems. This year it is the injuries, last year it is the injuries and the year before that it is the injuries. It is really shame
for a club like arsenal to give excuses
for their problem on injuries season after season after season.According to the manager, the
players and the majority
of the fans, the problems has nothing to do with the fact that the club did not strengthened the most problematic area in the team, DM and CBs; it has nothing to do with the fact that
players were
played out of position; and it has nothing to do with the fact that Wenger's tactical inability (
for games like Liverpool 5 - 1, Chelsea 6 - 0, City 6 - 3, Everton 3 - 0, Andrelechet 3 - 3, Swansea 2 - 1).
As
for the season before that season we also had no cover
for injuries and guess what, next season it will be injuries again and zero cover, lots
of players wasted by being
played out of position and under performing.
I don't really blame any
of those
players at all, first mistake from Wenger was his team selection and secondly wrong
players in a wrong
position,, its quite sad with all their mouths and boasting
of starting the season strongly and aiming
for the league just a waste
of energy and wishful thinking, am putting the whole blame on Wenger, where is Belerin, why Ozil, Cazorla
played out of positions, you should know their weaknesses and strength as a coach, why must we pass and pass to score a goal, many opportunities came from shooting distance but the
players will always be looking
for the next person to pass the ball to, its quite unfortunate that a big club like arsenal is relying on a scrappy Giroud to lead an attack
of a team aiming to win the league.
Theo is better than you gave him credit
for yet I do recognize Theo isn't the next TH14 which he was claimed to be, there are reasons why he performed at a lower level this season... most
players do when they are
played out of position.
I always knew Auba / Aguero wouldn't work except one
plays out of position - which still remains an unattractive prospect
for both
players.
And just
for good measure the Frenchman pointed
out, as reported by Metro, that Arsenal are in a better
position having a
player like Alexis desperate to
play than some other clubs having the opposite sort
of problem with the likes
of Diego Costa and Dimitri Payet.
We are lucky if he doesn't try a new midfield
for the first time in a big game or
play a
player or two
out of position.
No matter what happened in the other Premier League games set to be
played this weekend, there was always going to be a lot
of pressure on Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal
players after our side had fallen
out of the top four and into the worst
position at this point
of a season
for over 10 years.
Everyone goes on about not
playing players out of position then indulges the whippet in his belief about striker potential... he ain't and never will b... the difference with the ox when he came on was obvious last night... We have been lumbered with this overrated guy forb a decade now... Why we upped his wages is a mystery to me but torpedoes any talk
of wenger's managerial prowess that is
for sure
My real concern is up front,
for the wide
positions and cf we have a total
of 5 first team
players, Welbeck, Giroud, Walcott, Ox and Sanchez also Cazorla Ramsey and Ozil will
play a game or 2
out wide but I really think we need either a winger or a striker, they don't even need to be
out of this world someone like Mertens, Callejon, Pedro, Immobile, Llorente, Austin, Pelle would do.
The one constant is Wenger but the fault is not only his... Now
players are showing there discontent by not even considering big offers from within the club even if it means going somewhere else
for less money and still
playing out of position.
U do know keeping Sanchez is not a win
for anybody right, this is a
player that doesn't want to
play for us anymore, the two new
players we bought are being benched by le fraud in other to
play players out of position, but we shouldn't be angry, let's celebrate whoooo we failed to address our biggest problem again getting rid
of the yoghourt man.
