For the icing, I melted a bit of
coconut butter and mixed
real maple syrup in until it became icing texture.
The smooth custard is a good foil
for the buttery crust, and when topped with powdered sugar and extra toasted
coconut, it's a
real treat.
Primal candy: melt and layer (or combine) any of the following ingredients: Cacao Powder Cacao Butter

Coconut oil
Coconut flakes Nuts and dried fruit Sweetener of choice Spread out on a large baking sheet
for «bark» or in deeper pans
for «chunks».
It's interesting to note that to create a market
for highly processed foods, one first has to vilify the
real food (butter,
coconut oil, animal fat) and create a fear of it.
With
coconut flour recipes it seems that
real eggs are needed
for it to work.
Serve your chicken salad alone, on a bed of greens, or
for a
real sandwich - like meal, in between two slices of
coconut flour biscuits or almond flour bread.
I add lemon juice or vinegar to almond milk or
coconut milk when baking a recipe that calls
for buttermilk, but it never adds the tenderness nor the tang of
real buttermilk.
I would be making them with
real butter, but refined
coconut oil as the person I am making them
for does not like the taste of
coconut.
Then not being able to find the freakin» recipe... oh yes... Bummer that it happened with
coconut butter, though, that stuff is expensive
for real!

you can start a really vigorous gluten free starter culture without having to open a whole packet of yeast
for just a few grains by using a tablespoon or so of a fermented drink — kombucha, water kefir (Whole Foods carries a
coconut water kefir that is very active) or if you have access to
real unpasteurized sauerkraut you could probably use some of the liquid.

real sugar is absolutely necessary
for coconut milk yogurt.
Bake the pie at 350 F
for one hour, let cool COMPLETELY, and then enjoy with some fresh
