seasonal touches throughout the house but I don't like it feeling too overwhelming so I like to stick with subtle touches like cozy throws and
pillows for fall (and winter) and a few pumpkins and some more branches from our yard.
The
pillow cover could easily be changed out
for seasonal decorating.

That's one of the biggest pieces of advice I give my design clients — if you are on a budget, choose neutrals
for the big ticket items like furniture and flooring... and then, when you get the itch to switch, you can do so without breaking the bank by adding a couple
seasonal throw
pillows, a few pops of color via florals, or maybe an inexpensive blanket or DIY project.
The inpsiration
for the entire color palatte came from a rustic woven kilim
pillow I found on sale at Pottery Barn several weeks ago, since blue and white is my all - time favorite color combination, I am always looking
for new ways to incorporate blue in my
seasonal decor, and have never thought much of using blues
for fall, but this
pillow pulled all the colors together so well!
This is the spot where most of my vintage fun happens; The Kitchen Sitting Area, and rotating quilts and
pillows on my white wicker is the basis
for my
seasonal decor.
Store
for the seasons Use vacuum - packs to shrink and store
seasonal items like extra blankets or the double thickness winter duvet, plus any extra
pillows.
