The results can be enjoyed for years, but this is such an EASY stencil project you could even update your lampshade each season!

However, top coats provide a smoother surface that is easier to clean and boost durability for high use projects such as table tops and kitchen cabinets.

All in all I would say it is a fairly easy project, and provides such a big difference for only $ 50 bucks and a couple of hours of your time.
