urgent theological problem today, at any rate
for the vast number of persons who
still do not share in the benefits of modernity, is a problem more of
action and justice than of belief and truth.
Native title is, today,
still governed by the exact same legal structure as that which, in 1998, caused the Committee
for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (the CERD Committee) to put Australia under its
Urgent Action procedure and request an explanation
for this extreme imposition of discriminatory policy.
