After months without any official mention of Miku, I concluded that SEGA visions
for vocaloid localization fell through, and sought solace by importing the inaugural entry in the series, 2009's Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA for the PSP.
It's most assuredly one
for the vocaloid's superfans and even they may be disappointed, given the fleeting nature of the experience.
Both experiences can be fascinating and fun, but they're as different as the process of typing out instructions
for Vocaloid and singing a melody yourself.
The goal is, of course, to hit as many notes with perfect timing as possible in order to earn a high score and Diva Points, which can be spent in an in - game shop on new Modules (costumes), items, and furniture
for the Vocaloids.
While an appreciation
for vocaloids is a requisite, aficionados will undoubtedly treasure the engaging title.
For the first time ever (as long as you buy both versions of the game), you'll also be able to customize their hair for the different modules as well, which offers an even more in depth level of personalization
for the vocaloids not seen before in any previous game.
Not exact matches
For the time being, Melodyne and
Vocaloid require a steeper learning curve than GarageBand.
Of course, these homespun Spectors would no doubt prefer to have McCartney or Turner singing
for them in the studio, and perhaps
Vocaloid or its descendants will eventually supply those famous voices.

Though Hatsune Miku — and

Vocaloid's appearance bores you, you can buy them gifts or furniture
for their rooms.
My personal favorite of these is in the video

vocaloid got me into it the most:p) and can't really go back to reading romaji, would love if there was finally an option in a localized Diva!
What you get
for your money when you've coughed up
for the first part of VR Future Live is a «concert experience» starring the eponymous
vocaloid.

Music is truly the universal language and
