There are two keys to keep ground
turkey burger patties juicy and moist: 1) Use combination of dark and
white meats: I don't use all
white meat for burgers but but combination of dark and
white freshly ground
turkey.
Most sauce recipes like this will have ground beef
for the
meat, which adds a lot of saturated fat and can be harder to digest than
turkey and other
white meat poultry.

Feel free to use ground
white turkey instead of ground dark
meat for a less fatty alternative.
Heat up a large skillet on medium heat with a little butter and olive oil (this ones
for the patties) combine and mix in a large bowl the cooked veggies, zest, sea salt, egg and almond flour,
turkey meat and sausage (removing the casings) With your hands make patties to about the size of your palm or smaller (I make them smaller
for my kids) Add the formed patties to the skillet and let them cook until the rim of the patties are
white Flip (add the cheese if desired) and cook
for another four minutes Serve
When choosing
meat, try to eat organic, free range
white meat like chicken and
turkey, and
for fish, try to eat wild caught.

If you need to cook your
white turkey meat, simply place it in a slow cooker with water to cover it on low
for six to seven hours, or until it measures 145 ⁰ — 147 ⁰ F.
If preparing a home - cooked diet look
for lean,
white meats such as chicken,
turkey, rabbit, cod, or coley.
A spoonful each of nice
white meat turkey, sweet potatoes or mashed potatoes minus the butter, sour cream, nuts, and marshmallows would be safe
turkey day fare
for your dog.
