on inclusive education practices, high expectations for students and education leaders, and providing evidence - based instruction and learning supports so that all students have an opportunity to learn the
standards in all core subject areas, which will ultimately lead to increased accountability and
academic success for all.

forced to agree to a US DOE school improvement agenda that focused
on overhauling low performing schools, adopting more rigorous teacher evaluations and new college and career ready
academic standards known as Common Core.
