Once the puddle was hit, we expected the usual
forced braking action somewhat akin to running into a wall.

Figure 5 shows that as the
brake shoes contact the drum, there is a kind of wedging
action, which has the effect of pressing the shoes into the drum with more
force.
If the likelihood of a collision increases, the system issues an audio and visual alarm to encourage the driver to take evasive
action, and the increased pre-collision
braking force and automatic
braking functions are activated.
An interesting feature available for the faster models is ReRun, an application that combines driving data recorded by the car — including speed, gear selection and
braking forces — with footage recorded from a GoPro
action camera.
At that point, the
brake system modulator pump increases
braking pressure while the pedal is still being pressed to ensure maximum stopping
force, an
action that can help shorten
braking distance.
At that point, the VSA modulator pump increases
braking pressure while the pedal is still being pressed to ensure maximum stopping
force, an
action that can help shorten
braking distance.
Brake Assist A function of the VSA system, Brake Assist recognizes emergency or hard
braking situations and almost instantly applies added
braking force to ensure maximum stopping
force, an
action that can help shorten
braking distance.
Braking
action is dependent on 130 mm dual drum
brakes and a combi -
brake system is also incorporated to add
force to the stopping power.
(39 kg) raise the child into the adult belted zone • Anti-lock
brakes (ABS) modulate the
brakes for the driver to provide steering control while
braking • Electronic Stability Program (ESP) applies selective
braking or throttle reduction to control oversteer and understeer • Brake Assist ensures maximum
braking action during panic stops • Traction Control reduces the throttle and / or applies selective
braking to optimize traction during acceleration • Electronic Roll Mitigation determines when the vehicle is in a potential roll over condition and applies appropriate
braking force to reduce the likelihood that such an event will occur • Rollover Sensing deploys seat - mounted side air bags, side - curtain air bags and seat - belt pretensioners • Trailer Sway Control helps maintain vehicle and trailer system stability by applying selective
braking • Event Data Recorder records the nature of a malfunction or impact event for retrieval using a service diagnostic tool • Available ParkView ™ Rear Backup Camera displays the view behind the vehicle in the navigation display when backing up or parking • Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) alerts drivers to low tire pressure (s) to facilitate safe handling • Brake - park Interlock prevents automatic transaxle from being shifted out of Park or Neutral without first applying
brakes • Side Guard Door Beams in front and rear doors provide occupant protection in the event of a side impact
If the situation is not resolved, CMBS can apply different levels of automatic
braking action to help reduce vehicle speed and eventual collision
forces, and therefore to help reduce the severity of a collision if the driver does not take corrective
action on their own.
In some way, we have to find a
brake, and finally gradually transform the underlying
forces to brought us where we are now: — unreserved capitalism (by redefining what capital is and who it belongs to)-- freedom of personal development, — juridical and financial autonomy of corporations (every
action or inaction by a corporation must be accounted for by real people — consumerism, — nationalism and regionalism, — confiscation of communal resources by economic parties, juridical and political support for any of those above)
