German chancellor Angela Merkel and French president Nicolas Sarkozy quelled fears that Greece could be
forced out of the eurozone, referring to the beleaguered country as «integral».
And for Greece's own wealthier classes, the EU loan package would enable the country to remain within the
Eurozone long enough to permit them to move their money
out of the country before the point arrived at which Greece would be
forced to replace the euro with the drachma and devalue it.
