form of magnesium supplementation such as Magnesium oil or Magnesium cream.

Similar to zinc, if you are able to manipulate your food intake so you are above these levels then
supplementation is not required and lowballing
magnesium supplementation (100 - 200 mg
of any
form but L - threonate) is unlikely to be harmful.
That said,
magnesium deficiency is relatively rare in healthy dogs who consume adequate diets, so, if you believe your dog may have developed a deficiency, they need to see a veterinarian before receiving
supplementation (even in the
form of whole foods like seaweed).
