The resultant product (now known as high fructose corn syrup) gradually replaced sucrose in the USA as the main
form of sugar added to soft drinks and certain foods.
If the ingredients has
a form of sugar added, I don't eat it.
Not exact matches
As the name implies,
added sugars are processed
forms of sugar, like syrups, that are
added to certain foods when they're being made.
But I'd grown overconfident, so the fact that I'd never in my life used a pastry blender or a rolling pin didn't stop me from going right ahead and whisking together some flour,
sugar, and salt, cutting in two sticks
of butter,
adding some water, and then kneading it all together to
