Most of oil based energy is lost at the point of use (in
the form of waste heat) during combustion.

It can no longer return itself to the previous orderly motions before the molecules began to collide with each other and it is the work done by the force
of gravity as it collects up the molecules that is getting «
wasted» in the
form of heat, and can only partially be converted back to work, and is why the Temperature is increasing.
The
waste products
of the world might come from consumption,
heating, agriculture, mining, manufacturing, fossil fuel extraction, transportation, or some other human activity and without some
form of control, they will degrade the environment as they accumulate or disperse.
Both farming and food processing yield huge amounts
of waste matter like food peels, oil and animal matter that can be biologically processed to produce gas that can be used for
heating homes, for generating electricity as well as in a refined
form used to power cars.
Organic

forms of energy such as
heat or electricity, or crops grown specifically for that purpose.
Writing in Environmental Research Letters, author Mary S. Booth disputes assertions that burning biomassOrganic

On top
of that also add the
waste heat from electric power stations, and even the thermal pollution from nuke plants (Even though they do not emit co2) and airplanes and I reckon that is a lot
of heat energy that used to be a
form of carbon now warming up the atmosphere.
Fuller's design used 90 % compressed air (at 200 psi), and just 10 % water, in the
form of atomized droplets, which he claimed would use just 1 pint
of water per hour, and I remember thinking that here we are, some 50 years later, still
wasting both water and
heat with conventional showerheads, while this genius
of an idea was relegated to a footnote in history books.
Traditional photovoltaic (PV) systems convert approximately 16 %
of the sun's energy into usable electricity, discarding the remaining energy as
waste, mostly in the
form of heat.
They're clearly relying on people's ignorance
of the laws
of thermodynamics, which mean that whenever
heat is converted to another
form of energy a large amount will always be
wasted.
Any other
form of energy can be turned into
heat, either partially, or completely; and what lay folks refer to as «
heat» is simply the result
of turning some other
form of energy; which can include EM radiation; once again, all the way from down to but not including DC, up to the end
of the gama ray spectrum (orbeyond), into the
waste mechanical energy
of some physical matter; and for most people that is a result
of absorption
of EM radiation by mostly water in the human body; that's what WE feel as «
heat».
Some
of that
wasted power will be in the
form of excess
heat.
Go for floor standing rather than ceiling fans to ensure the
heated air is distributed at the correct level and to avoid
wasting energy in the
form of heated air rising to the ceiling.
