Fostering is the best thing I've ever done for my 31

Fostering refers to the intermediate stage during which the
dogs are given medical attention and taken care of until they

adopt your
foster dog if the board members agree they
are a good match for your family and you notify us prior to us promising the
dog elsewhere.

is in YOUR home, but the ultimate decision about what family will
adopt a

is the sole right of the rescue.

adopting or
fostering a rescued
dog from the pound / shelter
is a happy time for you and a relief to the
dog.

are hoping to help rescues and shelters who can provide
foster homes for these «hard to
adopt»
dogs but need some assistance for the financial responsibility.

And while we would love to place every
dog in a
foster home until it
's adopted, we don't have enough
foster homes to care for the
dogs we want to rescue, so we incur substantial boarding fees for many of our
dogs.
We will consider on a case - by - case basis, however,
foster - to -
adopt situations on
dogs who
are at the ITV Rescue Center.
We do
adopt nationwide (and to Canada) as long as adopters
are willing to come and pick up their
adopted dogs in person (we do not ship any of our
dogs) * and * if, for any reason at all, they can not keep one of our grads, they * must *
be willing and able to return their
adopted dog to his / her original
foster home, despite distance and any costs that would
be required to do so.
