My 3 cats (all youngish and all adopted last year from the same organization where I
volunteer now) were very good about having Strangers In The House and treated the kittens well (though only 1 of the 3 really
LIKED them), so I'll
foster again this year.
In addition, they are seeking
volunteers to help with transport of pets,
fostering of pets, and people who would
like to permanently adopt.

Because all our
foster dogs live with our
volunteers, you will get an accurate assessment of the dog's energy level, personality,
likes and dislikes, behavior with children, cats and other dogs, and more.
Through the tour and discussion she realized the overwhelming need places
like the Animal Humane Society and Minneapolis Animal Care and Control were facing and if she wanted to do something, she had to
volunteer to
foster through a rescue.

While I am an occasional
foster volunteer myself, I don't work directly with the
foster program so I thought it would be prudent to ask our team what they have learned and would
like to share about our

like all the other organizations listed here, urgently require loving
foster homes, adopters, and
volunteers.

volunteer application.
We rely on the help and kindness of donors,
volunteers,
foster parents, compassionate vets, and people
like YOU to fill in the gaps.
They find local
volunteers who agree to temporarily
foster the animals, and make connections with groups
like Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue.

volunteer foster caretaker for Blind Dog Rescue Alliance, to tell us about what an average day is
like caring for dogs with special needs.
A dedicated group of approximately 30
volunteers and
fosters has allowed us to achieve our current success, and we depend on the kindness of people
