First, by carrying a Chase United card (even the fee - free version) you have access to

A lot of people prefer the in - air product of Jet Blue over Southwest for longer flights since it has tv's, free wifi,

award availability may not have been been super-easy but, as long as you've been using Singapore's own KrisFlyer program to book the
awards (the airline makes

finding space since some people won't be able to afford the new rates with the same

I agree with your analysis in general, but I
find that
availability for
award seats tend to lean
more to flights going to HKG rather than leaving out of HKG.
At the time there was very little
availability on AA metal, and I felt lucky to
find the premium saver
award space on the 777 - 200 departing JFK at 7:55 p.m. Generally, though, I prefer taking the latest possible trans - Atlantic flight so that I can get
more sleep.
