New research has now uncovered a strain of bacteria
found on human skin that can protect against cancer.
In both the pure water and lake ice, these tests turned up DNA snippets from a common bacterium
found on human skin that causes acne.
The team tested if bacteria normally
found on human skin, including Staphylococcus hominis and Staphylococcus epidermis, defend against Staphylococcus aureus — a pathogenic bacteria that aggravates skin conditions like atopic dermatitis.
What it does: This is one of the most common microbes
