We tried offers on a couple
of properties that fell within their
affordability range, and we actually completed an Agreement
of Purchase and Sale with a seller for a property that needed some repair work to the
foundation (that the buyer said that he could look after seeing as he was in the construction business).
A single guarantor, solely responsible to taxpayers, would be the right
foundation for a new system that could take on the crisis
of housing
affordability while avoiding ill - considered risks.
