Over the weekend, the South Korea tech giant launched
the fourth beta build for Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus.
According to Android Police,
the fourth beta build for the S8 and S8 Plus comes with a long list of bug fixes.
On the other hand, Galaxy S7 and S7 edge users in the beta program who rely on Samsung Notes might want to download the app or make a backup before installing
the fourth beta build, as the new firmware will erase all Samsung Notes data upon deleting the app.
The new beta comes a week after Apple dropped
the fourth beta build on developers, bringing with it a host of new bug fixes and performance improvements.

At this point, the
beta for the Galaxy S8 is already on its
fourth incremental update, whereas the Oreo
build available for the Galaxy Note 8 is unofficial leaked software that just hit the internet.
Weighing in at around 280 MB, this
fourth N OS distribution (
build ZPLH) is apparently to be further «improved» during the «remaining
beta period», which suggests one or two provisional patches might still be coming before Samsung finally decides to radically alter the S7 duo's user interface for all.
The previous
build was already relatively stable, yet the
fourth beta release contains quite a large list of improvements for a wide variety of issues, ranging from the device sometimes overheating and rebooting while playing games, to pictures not being shown in the gallery application.
