This is Scott Kelly's
fourth time in space and third stay at the space station.

It wasn't just about the subject matter — although it's tricky to write about such a tender and intimate
time in a person's life, to tell your own story while still holding
space for stories that are so different than your own, to attempt to shepherd people well
in the liminal
spaces of their faith journeys — but it was also just the season of life with being pregnant with our
fourth and then giving birth and suddenly having four tinies between the ages of 9 and newborn meant I had a lot less
time with a lot less energy (and even less sleep!)
Bergson was worried about the interpretation of relativity theory proposed by Minkowski
in which
time is a
fourth dimension of
space and
in which the experience of temporal relations is analogous to shining a flashlight through the
fourth dimension and finding the things that are «already there» (timelessly there).
By the
time he was
in first grade, he was already reading third and
fourth - grade level books on
space and the universe.
For a
fourth time, physicists have spotted gravitational waves — ripples
in space itself — set off by the merger of two massive black holes.
That paper spelled out how an observer's motion through
space affects his motion through
time (to someone traveling at nearly the speed of light,
time slows to a crawl), but it said nothing about treating
time as a
fourth dimension
in a continuum of
space -
time.
The young Einstein came to the remarkable realization that
time was,
in fact, a
fourth dimension, alongside the three dimensions of
space that we see around us, creating what has become known as the «block universe» picture of reality.
The results of this NASA - funded study were published
in Science on June 22, 2017 — a special
time of the year for the IRIS mission, which celebrates its
fourth anniversary
in space on June 26.
The goal of the NIH program, as described on its website, is «to understand the principles behind the three - dimensional organization of the nucleus
in space and
time (the
fourth dimension), the role nuclear organization plays
in gene expression and cellular function, and how changes
in the nuclear organization affect normal development as well as various diseases.»
Einstein argued that gravity was far more than just a force; it was a curve
in the
fourth dimension of
space and
time.

Although they have coordinated
in some of the public
spaces, the second, third and
fourth floors can be seen as independent shows and visited either
in bite - size pieces — one floor at a
time — or swallowed
in one gulp.
Attempting to locate themselves somewhere between the painting / apartment, the negative
space, and their own bodily experience as they navigate the virtual
space, viewers enter a
fourth dimension that goes beyond traditional conventions of a physical encounter with a static, painted object
in space and
time.
Even if their last offence was relatively minor, they might have been given a suspension because it was the third or
fourth time they were caught
in the
space of a few years.
There's a reason
time is considered the
fourth dimension
in space — and not just because of Einstein.
