Their decisions over the past 20 years have been disappointing to say the least, everything from being the exclusive NFL partner for football Video Games (effectively wiping out competition) to the milking of great franchises just for the sake of making money.

I think they may have pulled a Nintendo and secured Vanquish 2 exclusive to Xbox platforms, Actually they may have gone back to Sega like they did with the original xbox and secured a bunch of their games for xbox exclusivity... thats the only way I see them making a quick and big splash with fans... if they announced new studios under their umbrella thats great but fans are not going to see those rewards until the next generation as it will take a few years to get those IP's whether brand new or existing franchises up and running... thats how I see them making shock and awe, IF they even pull that off.

I have very high expectations for gears xbx one now, with fergusson on board and the franchise now being exclusive, MS has the opportunity to push the it even further by investing a lot more into it and expanding the universe, story and characters and taking it much farther than Epic ever did....

It was a tired old franchise and no one on the PS side was asking for it to be ported and MS securing the exclusive rights to this series instead of investing that into something new shows just how clueless they really are.

Im fine with vanquish or other games being timed but Resident evil is such a big franchise for it to be an exclusive timed or not look at RE7.
