franchise movies require of their casts.
Turning
Fire Emblem series into a Warriors game should've been an ordinary task for Omega Force's — after all, they've done it time and again with other
franchises, and more often
than not it ended up being a fun fan - servicey game.
Mockingjay Part 2 doesn't quite reach those heights, but plays out like a gripping recap of the best bits of the rest of the
franchise: the gulf between rival suitors Gale and Peeta is clearer
than ever, thanks to their conflicting ideologies; the clash between dictatorship and democracy is brutally violent; and the action sequences buzz with thrill and ingenuity not seen since Catching
Fire.
It's not like it's a Mario bundle either,
Fire Emblem is definitely closer to Animal Crossing
than Mario on the scale of Nintendo
franchise popularity.
But at the same time, unlike Catching
Fire, the two - part finale of this
franchise didn't have any sequences shot with IMAX cameras, so that really doesn't make the giant screen worth it other
than the sound quality.
However, if you were only a casual fan of Dynasty Warriors or if you never gave the
franchise a shot, the
Fire Emblem elements are more
than enough to make this an enjoyable experience.
Which is why it is puzzling that Amazon would more closely align its tablets — which at least saw moderate success when the first Kindle
Fire tablet launched in November 2011 — with a struggling phone and burgeoning streaming video box, rather
than the e-reader
franchise that started the company on its hardware path.
So among the possibilities,
Fire Emblem was a
franchise boasting multiple popular titles, and I thought there was more
than enough value in including a character from
Fire Emblem.
Rather
than make a sequel to that game, they have instead moved onto the
Fire Emblem
franchise with
Fire Emblem Warriors.
There are some innovative combos required where you would need to combine specific arrow combos to kill enemies, such as freeze, then
fire, but the simple combat never lead to anything other
than move, shoot, move, shoot, which was still very satisfying and left me feeling a bit like Hawkeye from the Marvel
franchise.
I don't think I understand
Fire Pro any better but I've now spent more time with this album
than any of the games in the
franchise and think it's worth a listen: fan, fanatic or not.

For those unfamiliar with the series, Disgaea is a strategy RPG
franchise more similar to Final Fantasy Tactics
than Fire Emblem.
