Almost a year ago, I did a post about how I would prefer to have tutorials be optional, especially for certain
franchises like Pokemon.
Satoru Iwata had a huge impact on the gaming industry, helping numerous
franchises like Pokemon and Smash Bros become what they are today when they saw early development troubles.

As Nintendo is primarily known for its landmark video game
franchises like Super Mario Bros.,

like Project Diva and Tomodachi Life — did so after massive sales successes in Japan, and the reason that Level - 5 keeps dropping hints that Yo - kai Watch is heading global isn't because the idea of Japanese spirits is particularly marketable — it's because that
franchise has consumed its home country in a way that has only been seen with
franchises like Monster Hunter,
Pokemon and Dragon Quest.
Remember, mods for games
like Super Mario World, Sonic the Hedgehog,
Pokemon and the Zelda series have added a ton of replay value to their respective
franchises, and led to all manner of great projects.
But this month's list is actually pretty sparse on the filler trash and has a pretty amazing line - up with some tent pole
franchises like Call of Duty,
Pokemon and Finaly Fantasy.
Maybe hints at
franchises they plan to launch for NX and focus on their already announced games for 2016
like Pokemon and Paper Mario.
Video games have been silently entering the realm of board games for more than a decade: With the
likes of
Pokemon Monopoly, Risk: Metal Gear Solid Edition and the future Mega Man board game, the board game universe can add another video game
franchise into the expanding roster, with Risk: Plants VS Zombies Collector's Edition.
Pokemon is probably one of the most reliable
franchises that Nintendo has at this time, so it makes sense for them to revisit older classics
like...
They helped make the home console the norm, have ushered in all new generations of consoles, and are responsible for gaming
franchises like Super Mario, Star Fox, and
Pokemon.
To date, Nintendo has sold more than 2 billion video games worldwide and more than 360 million hardware units globally, creating such industry icons as Mario © and Donkey Kong and launched

Like other spin - offs in the
Pokemon franchise Detective Pikachu doesn't follow the route of asking you to catch»em all and it completely stands on its own.
At their best, Sun and Moon feel
like Pokemon Colosseum, an exciting development in an ageing
franchise.
It's sad to note, in fact, that the success of the
Pokemon franchise has left Game Freak either unwilling or simply unable to make another platform game
like this one.
Fans of the once
Pokemon -
like now brutal monster - killing action game
franchise have reason to celebrate.
