Resident Evil game.

Resident Evil 7 though, God of War is a canon - following sequel that also serves as a fresh start for the

For the past several years, the

franchise has been running away from its survival horror roots
like a scream queen in a slasher flick.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, much
like a zombie, has reinvigorated life into a dead
franchise.
Since
Resident Evil 4, the hit horror
franchise felt less
like horror and more
like action, with continuously larger set pieces, a bigger is better ideology in narrative, and evolving creatures necessary to keep up with the hastening pacing.
With the
likes of
Resident Evil 7 proving both big
franchises and indie titles can make fear a reality in VR, Ubisoft has read between the lines and signed a deal with Elijah Wood's film production company, SpectreVision.
With Capcom making it clear recently that they have big things planned for the
Resident Evil
franchise later this year, it seems appropriate to discuss aspects that we'd
like to see from the next major entry in the series.
