fraud affidavit is a written statement or document where someone describes or provides evidence of fraudulent activities that they have witnessed or experienced. It is typically used as a formal way to report or document fraud to the authorities or relevant organizations.

Such expenses include the costs for
notarizing fraud affidavits; certified mail sent to law enforcement, financial institutions and credit agencies; lost income resulting from time off work to meet with law enforcement or credit agencies; loan application fees for reapplying for a loan; and reasonable attorney fees incurred to defend lawsuits brought against the insured and to remove criminal or civil judgments.
This sounds easy but the problem is that the credit bureaus and creditors some times ignore these requests to correct the errors even when a police report and
fraud affidavit are provided.

a fraud affidavit if an account appearing on your credit report isn't yours.
