I needed to take out some
of the blanched almond
flour, add in some gluten -
free flour mix, a little xanthan gum, and some baking powder.
With this particular recipe, since it's already got ground almonds in it I would just substitute the
flour for gluten -
free baking
mix, or perhaps increase the amount
of ground almonds to 1 cup and use 1 cup
of baking
mix instead
of 1 1/2 cups.
Converted to gluten -
free by using a gluten -
free brownie
mix and almond
flour instead
of wheat
flour so I can't speak to the brownie part
of the recipe, but the cream cheese flavored with bourbon really elevated these brownies and made them perfect for a holiday event.
