(29) found that although frail, prefrail, and nonfrail individuals did not differ in absolute or relative protein consumption (all participants exceeded the RDA), nonfrail participants displayed a more even protein distribution pattern across all daily
meals, whereas frail and prefrail participants skewed protein consumption toward the
noon meal.
