A nice perk
of the Marriott rewards
chart is that you will get the 5th night
free if you redeem 4 consecutive
award nights.

award chart for American Airlines includes American's off - peak rates, but with the added benefit
of two
free stopovers per roundtrip.
While the IHG
award chart isn't the best, the addition
of a 4th night
free on
award stays could definitely make it more competitive.

On the downside, Hilton did away with its
award charts in 2017 in exchange for the Hilton Honors points calculator and a promise that the number
of points needed for a
free night wouldn't ever be higher than what the price was for that particular hotel category.
