The main issues have been print copies, as they require new ISBNs — but I gave the change a positive spin and did a giveaway of signed First Editions to my fiction email list (signup and free book here!)

Everybody offers free ebooks these days, so you may need to think outside the box: maybe you could offer referrers half price on your next book, a signed print copy of your current one, or original artwork based on your work.
