Now, traditional recipes for this bread are always made with dried figs, but since fig season was upon me, I decided to make this bread with
fresh figs instead of dried.
I did not have fresh strawberries at that moment so used
fresh figs instead.

The only changes we made were dried
figs instead of apricots (didn't have any on hand) and also dried ginger
instead of
fresh.
