I thought I had dried thyme but alas, I did not so I added some fresh rosemary and a little extra sage.
I also didn't have anchovies so, I used some capers and, I added some additional fresh herbs (savory and lemon thyme) along with basil.
i do like a little more spice, so i added red pepper flakes, fresh marjoram and thyme, red bell pepper and substituted sunflower seeds for the almonds.

Thyme is so good as well — I feel it's really underappreciated as an herb — whether dried or fresh.
(I added some fresh thyme leaves and lemon zest along with the parmesan before backing, so good).
