To reheat: Place bag in
the fridge to thaw up to 2 days.
Leave frozen fruits out in
the fridge to thaw or put them in a Ziploc bag and thaw in a bowl of water before blending.
The night before, I put one into
the fridge to thaw and take it to work the next day.
Thawing tips: take out of the freezer 24 - 36 hours and place in
the fridge to thaw overnight.
But it's definitely worth the effort - I made the cake on a Sunday, popped it into the freezer, and took it out to gild with the mirror frosting on Wednesday morning, leaving it in
the fridge to thaw.
Fresh blueberries go off so quickly - these are ideal to always have on hand in the freezer... I either add straight from the freezer to porridge and almond milk and microwave them or leave them overnight in
the fridge to thaw and throw them onto granola and yoghurt in the morning - I always have a bag of these in the freezer.
I always pull out the next day's milk for daycare when I get home from work and put it in
the fridge to thaw.
Cover with surran wrap and place in
the fridge to thaw overnight.
6 p.m. — Get home and cook the blackened salmon that I had put in
the fridge to thaw earlier.
