Rice with Peas, Lemon Zest, and Tarragon Yakisoba Noodles with Tofu and Bok Choy Zucchini - Potato Casserole
For this version, I
mixed carrots, peas, corn, red and green bell peppers, green onions and diced
fried tofu with the jasmine
rice.
Sometimes it is cut up and lightly
fried and
mixed with long beans and red chilli paste as a vegetable dish eaten with plain
rice.
We usually cut it into thin slices and deep
fry or roast it for best flavours, sometimes plain, sometimes with a batter made of
rice flour
mixed with cornflour, some red chilli powder or paste, salt and just a tinge of sugar, and water, for some crispy and hot tempeh.
Frozen

If you want more carbs, serve over cooked white
rice and
mixed greens or a salad of choice, along with a sweet potato or yam, or sweet potato fries (here's a sweet potato
fry video recipe from me — and because of the heat instability of extra virgin olive oil, I recommend you use olive oil or coconut oil for your fries, not extra virgin olive oil).
For example when thickening stir -
fry sauces, basic white sauces and soups, I can recommend that you try to use tapioca starch or arrowroot starch (
mix it with a little cool water or
rice milk first before adding it to sauces).
