"Friend codes" refer to unique identification numbers or codes that enable individuals to connect and interact with each other in certain online games or platforms. There will be some sort
of friend codes utilized in this game, and it will apparently store a friend list of all people you've exchanged codes with.

Aside from the niggles of

ditch friend codes and adopt an single user name set up that is similar to Xbox Live.

EA has done away with the needlessly complicated and
sterile friends code system, but has instead allowed players to use an online moniker (a gamer tag / ID for those already basking in its simplicity and obviousness).
Of course this being a Nintendo system it will require those

In fact if you watch through these videos you'll come out thinking the Wii has a pretty robust online offering it it weren't for the fact that
FRIEND CODES STILL EXIST.

It didn't help that, in order to choose who you played with, you had to exchange the universally -
