With so many reasons to not be a blogger (I don't exactly have a very supportive family and
friends about me blogging), I'm pretty amazed there are still new posts coming up in this page every week.
Not exact matches

friends.

Of course there are other reasons for my sporadic
blogging this year: a surprise new baby coming which completely disoriented us, a new book to finish writing (and I will share all
about that in January), travelling and speaking all over North America, stewarding the message of Jesus Feminist throughout her first year of life, creating the Jesus Feminist collection with Imagine Goods, a trip to Haiti, new opportunities as a writer, three tinies at home with their own lives and drama and growth and change, remodelling parts of our home, marriage, church,
friends, life, work, laundry (oh, can we talk laundry?!)
While I could chalk this up to learning a lot
about blogging (which I did), or learning a lot
about theology and Scripture (some of which is documented on this blog), most of this increase is due to you — my
friends and fellow blogger / writers in the online community.
Over the course of the next year, I made several good
blogging friends online, and learned a lot
about blogging, started several other blogs, and decided to pursue my dream of getting published.
I also loved travelling to Montreal last fall and attending the Food Bloggers of Canada FBC2015 conference where I learned so much
about blogging and photography and got to meet some amazing Canadian food bloggers who I now call
friends.
None of my «real life»
friends cared much
about blogging, and none of the cool bloggers out there were my
friends.

Since I started
blogging, I've become better acquainted with two school nurses (one a new
friend, one who serves with me on Houston's Student Health Advisory Council) and now realize that it's often school nurses who are on the front lines of the childhood obesity crisis, conducting diabetes screenings and BMI evaluations, and using those few precious minutes with students to try to educate them as much as they can
about nutrition and health.

Dear
friends, We Rookie Moms try not to blog
about blogging because we believe that our readers are more likely to be fellow mamas, not fellow bloggers, but since there are definitely a handful of savvy bloggers reading our site, I want to address an issue some of us may be facing this week.
Not only did I get to meet one of my best
blogging friends in real life, I also had the chance to meet new
friends and find out more
about what Disney is up to at their parks and in the world of social media.
At times it's a bit challenging — after all you don't make
friends when
blogging about their political corruption, but that's just par for the course.

Thank you so much for your dedication to this project (ie,
blogging / responding to comments / sharing research etc.) A dear
friend of mine is in medschool in Buffalo, and on a recent visit to see me in Boston she got pretty fired up
about the deficits (her opinion, not mine) that keto presents.
Calling myself a green beauty addict would be a bit of an understatement... What I enjoy most is sharing the magic in everyday life with others whether that's
blogging about my latest beauty and fashion discoveries, acting in indie film, talking with a close
friend, or singing obnoxiously loud in my car.

I get to see old blogger
friends and meet new ones that have flown in from all over the country, I learn a TON
about blogging, I get to hear inspirational speakers, and the gift bag is not bad either.
I bought one for my mom for Mother's Day and she's been raving
about it since, and I've seen a few
blogging friends sharing their experiences with it.
But as we all know, that's not what the
blogging industry is
about, I started to lose those connections I had with my readers, I missed blog chats & general twitter conversations with my
blogging friends, I lost out on instagram because I didn't spend time engaging with people who were taking the time to like or comment.
I'm heading to Punta Cana next month for a
friend's beach wedding and as excited as I am
about spending six days in the sun with Chris and getting to see some of my
blogging friends, I'm a little nervous
about being in a bikini for almost a week... I gained ten pounds over the summer (damn that Italian gelato!)
I feel the exact same was as you
about this wonderful
blogging community — heck, that's how we became
friends, because fellow bloggers are warm, welcoming people who support each other.
My
blogging friend told me
about it and I really appreciate the community aspect and getting to know other blogs - not necessarily in my own genre!
