am a
vegetarian since two years and decided to live gluten and sugar free
from this year on.
I feel like every time I go to the supermarket, apart
from salads, the choice for ready meals for one person that
are full of vegetables, without too many preservatives and chemicals and
vegetarian / vegan that actually taste good
is so limited!
Part of the reason that I love it so much
is that chickpeas

from Portugal and I must say that my prefered food
is the mediterranean, although
vegetarian, without the meat and fish.
It makes me feel that the term «vegan»
is extremely unfortunate and misleading, because the term does not emphasize or even signify respect for animals or living
beings or creatures, as it would benefit
from doing, but rather uses a derivative form of «vegetable» or «
vegetarian», which makes it sound as if the central point
is — eating vegetation, i.e. plants, which makes it sound like a diet.
It
is definitely the blog that I cook
from the most, and it
's no surprise that I
was impatiently awaiting the arrival of their first cookbook

'm from the Netherlands and I
'm a big fan of your blog and books.I actually love food
from all around the globe as long as it
's vegetarian, that
's why I love your blog so much, but I would have to say that Italian cuisine and Indian cuisine
are my absolute favorites.
By now I

vegetarian (I still eat fish sometimes though, but that need decreases) As a former meat eater I enjoyed Golabki, Flaki and Pierogies, both are polish cuisines because even though I was born in Germany, half my heritage (specific: my mother) comes from Poland and I grew up with traditional polish cuisine, which still counts as comfort food to me (Omg I need to mention I tried so often to make Bigos Vegetarian without sacraficing the taste, but it's still a challange) Bu talso my other half of heritage come from Hungary, I also enjoy traditional Hungarian food like Langos and Palacsinta (so good) Basically I've been brought up with no fear from anything new, I have no prejudices, try everything I can and enjoy home cooked meals made with local basic ingridients

Hi Ella, I do really like this post and agree with most of what you
're saying, however I would like to know what you think about the ethical side of
being vegan /
vegetarian because personally I think you SHOULD restrict yourself
from eating animal products, considering the pain and suffering an animal has had to go through unecessarily for you to eat them.

Indian

is thai & indian and currently the
vegetarian dishes
from korsika [tomatos, goat cheese, figs & honey] & jerusalem!
It
's so simple and although there
are different variations of it, we went with a
vegetarian version that gets protein
from eggs.
