Living
in our heads stops us
from recognizing that life
is merely a stream of
present moments.
From the
moment you log
in, everything
is presented in a concise and easy - to - understand way.
This morning my heart
's all
in that there
's living
present power
in Jesus» blood to cleanse me this
moment and this day... not just as a point of doctrine but as reality
from God that frees.
He
is present to us only
in his absence, and to know the absent or the missing God
is to know a void that must
be filled with despair and rebellion, an Angst deriving
from a ressentiment that
is itself created by an inability to bear a full existence
in the
present moment.
And that receding
moment, once so vividly
present and still so apparently alive (
in part because of radio),
is just like this
moment, this Saturday afternoon, with its new show, coming to us live
from Minnesota, where people right now

are embraced by a human

While the people of God
are not to
be bemused by the «things of old,» their capacity to discern the real
in the
present moment must derive
