Just this morning I was thinking how nice it would be to host the ladies

from any church i go to if your preaching rot someone needs to say it, and im sorry but waiting till a mid week

From my
study of the
bible I had a hard time accepting the trinity I was told to teach and eventually it was one of the doctrines that made me question the whole thing and question the motives of my Church.
I find it is helpful to be in God's word and a mens
bible study to have a better understanding as to what is truly
from God.
It might funny there are many books to read and many books to
study from that a good thing but there one book that when you

bible has been changed over time
from the fact that the available documents have been
studied and that also means omissions and
from the fact that there have been several «standard»
bibles — one wouldn't need a «standard»
bible if they were all unchanged.

study history, other than your own, that

I was raised catholic,
studied Christianity in private
bible study, became atheist when I learned the sciences and yet today I am a very spiritual person, based on what I have learned
from the scriptures of multiple religions and the science that explains a lot of the universal way of life.
But I also believe that we stifle God's whisperings to us by turning too quickly to Bible commentaries, Bible
studies from other Christians, and the notes in our
study Bibles.
This common experience has soured me
from recommending

I have had a few
study bibles including one
from a well known TV evangelist but to me the notes just keep getting in the way of trying to interpret what the scriptures are saying to me as the Holy Spirit guides me.
I think
study Bibles can be helpful, IF we realize that they simply contain condensed notes
from someone else about what they think the Bible teaches.
They got a seal of approval
from both adults and the kiddos at
bible study.
