from car wreck cases because there is a whole body of law from the government that regulates them and that they have to comply with.

wreck it.
I do think having assets in an LLC can help on general liability issues like
car wrecks, etc, I have no idea of what would happen in an LLC where only 1 spouse was a member, I suppose that the court would support limiting division to just collecting payments
from it, but I have never looked at the
case law.
