On Friday, Microsoft said that Cortana is now integrated with devices
from ecobee, TP - Link, Honeywell, LIFX and Geeni.
Unfortunately, you can only set this up from the thermostat itself and not
from the Ecobee app on your phone (like the Nest allows you to do), but it's easy to do and doesn't take a lot of time at all.
Cortana now supports devices
from ecobee, Honeywell Lyric, Honeywell Total Connect Comfort, LIFX, TP - Link Kasa and Geeni.
You'll find smart light bulbs from GE, LIFX, Philips, and Sylvania; smart switches from Elgato, Leviton, and Lutron; smart thermostats
from Ecobee, Honeywell, and Emerson; and smart locks from August, Kwikset, and Schlage.
Those are big names to be sure, but if your smart home is based on products
from Ecobee, LIFX, iDevices, Iris by Lowe's, TP - Link, C by GE, Chamberlain, Vivint Smart Home, Wemo, Dish Network, or any of a long list of other products or service providers, then you'll have to wait for Cortana to catch up.

from its $ 100 million Alexa Fund to support

So, if you work

Direct support is a little thinner for security cameras (you can choose
from Netgear's Arlo line and Ring's video doorbells) and smart thermostats (
Ecobee and Honeywell are your only choices; Nest is not supported).
