I like to stay away
from using the leg curl, leg extension

gym as I believe you get better results
from using compound movements that don't isolate specific muscle groups.
This problem stems
from overuse of
gym equipment such as plate - loaded

When isolating your Abs, stay away
from the ab curl and obliques

gym, these don't work that well and you would benefit far more
from doing the following instead, aim to do 2/3 sets of 12 reps of the Ab exercises and you will see great results:
