I'll be guest pinning on HyVee's Back To School Pinterest Board this Saturday through Monday (8/8 — 8/10,) sharing fun
snacks and make - ahead breakfast ideas, lunches your
kids won't trade for juice boxes, and quick, filling dinner recipes

What we have seen is him go
from a healthy weight to packing a little belly, because They Give These
Kids Snacks Every Day!
In fact the
kid's tray always makes it easy for my boy to have a bite of his favorite
snacks while we take a few rests
from time to time.
Bucking this trend can sometimes be hard, though, and many parents have reported getting a surprising amount of push - back
from fellow parents, or recalcitrant principals, teachers or soccer coaches, when they've asked to improve the
snacks and treats offered to their
kids.
I'd like the book because I've gone through every
snack idea by now and now that the
kids are older, they tend to want to eat junkfood (sigh, all my teaching for almost naught) so I'm hoping that some tasty (yet healthful)
snacks will distract them
from that.
