We consider
local reef diving to cover all
dive sites that are out in front of San Pedro Town,
from down South in the Hol Chan Marine Reserve to up North in the Tres Cocos area.

dive sites are sheltered
from prevailing trade winds and oceanic swells, but can be susceptible to

As much as we try to remove ourselves

local infrastructure; there's a couple of restaurants to choose
from, and also heaps of
local markets and street food stalls serving up some great food to refuel after a long day in the water.

The boat departs every day
from the Saladan pier at 8 AM and bounds for our amazing
local dive sites in the Andaman Sea (see the map for more information on
dive sites).
The
local community as a whole should also benefit
from the increased number of tourists attracted to the area because of the shark
dive.
Divemasters who take guests on the
dives at Shark Reef are also
from the
local communities.

The First structure was placed in the water on the 19th of July 2006 with a great deal of help
from dive shop staff and the
local community.
For our house reef and wreck
dive day trips we use our two
local Thai style boats, typical of this area - the longtail boat - which we have specially adapted for diving, with a covered roof to protect you
from the midday sun and a ladder to assist you on entering the boat
from the water.
There is a choice of three different

from Khao Lak: Bangsak Wreck, Thai Muang Wreck and the Khao Nayak House Reef, plus, if you would like to visit the Similan Islands but don't have the time for a liveaboard trip, it is possible to visit the Similan Islands on a one day trip.
Aqua Vision's TecRec courses are fully inclusive of everything you need to transition
from Recreational to TecRec Diving in a safe and enjoyable environment, and the training
dives are aboard the «Andaman Dream» and «Andaman Star», our fully equipped diving speedboats to
dive at some of the best sites in the region, including Phi Phi Marine National Park, Shark Point Marine Sanctuary and the «
local islands» at Ao Phra Nang.

You may do the academic and confined water sessions at your own schedule via elearning, Open Water Diver Touch and with a
local dive store (most areas offer many options to choose
from).
On a night
dive, even your
local dive site takes on a new personality at night, as many underwater creatures and plant life (different
from those you see during the day) become active.

dive site in the area is probably Crystal Bay where during the months of July to November you have a high chance of seeing Mola Mola rising up
from the deep to have their spa moment as they get cleaned by the
local reef fish.

local outrigger boat), Pyramids gets its name
from the artificially created reefs that the
local dive community has built in that are in the shapes of pyramids.
The Triathlon started with an Olympic - level swim
from the beach in front of Trawangan
