She suffered
from myofascial pain syndrome, which causes shoulder, arm, neck, and upper - body muscle spasms, and limited her ability to write for extended periods of time.
The plaintiff alleged sustaining the following injuries
from the subject motor vehicle accident:
myofascial (soft tissue) injuries to her neck, right shoulder, and back; radiating
pain into her hip and right leg as well as headaches around her right ear and right eye; musculoskeletal impairments; major depressive disorder; post-traumatic stress disorder; and a
pain disorder (somatic symptom disorder).
