My devotion this morning (My Utmost by Oswald Chambers) was about the true peace that comes
from obedience to Him.
He worked in many different avenues
from obedience to protection training, but for him it was always to stressful (for both the handler and the dog) to be waiting for the dog to make a «mistake» so the human could «correct» it.

Obedience to God, these texts suggest, can not take place in isolation
from social structures; faith in the living God demands not only love of neighbor.
But their quick
obedience to that look isn't because they are worried about a frightful spanking or punishment when they get home away
from witnesses.
Obedience has always been important
to God
from the beginning
to now.
It is a story of repentance and the movement
from disobedience
to obedience.

If you are walking uprightly, in
obedience to God and His Word, there is no good thing he will with hold

For much in Scripture can not be understood apart
from the active

to make offerings however it was by faith in God that made the person righteous and not the blood of animals.
