Aside
from that Gerald and many
others in this thread are making the big mistake of assuming that
because an
agent or brokerage is cutting their commission they also have to be cutting service.
Others were horrible salespeople who wouldn't do their jobs — I've seen it all
from agents who wouldn't even send me photos of the places they had listed to
agents who gave me the code to get in the house and show it to myself
because the home was under their usual commission threshold and they didn't want to waste their time to earn the «low» $ 12k commission (this happened on two occasions!).
I sometimes would get calls

Take the cost to acquire the goods (without co-op
agents selling your MLS listings, perhaps they would never sell and this is in fact «a cost») away
from the gross dollars coming in, before you do any
other calculations, (of course after co-op fees are paid) they are part of trust funds and can not be allotted to any
other category, even so they appear on the Balance Sheet as a payable)

agents have boycotted listing

agents are right in doing that but i think many people can uderstand that we as
agents work hard for money as do people do in thier jobs, but when city workers or constrution workers, police ect are asked to cut or modify there pay there unions leaders and brother fight and picket
because they work hard for there pay they fight for increase they fight for better working condtions but we as
agents fight each
other we do nt banned together like everybody else does.
