Based on a park with native California vegetation and a running track, my McKinley Village project uses color keys
from outdoor paintings to create a woven pattern of daily light on a picnic table (which also alludes to repeated laps completed on the running track).
LG: In what ways does your studio painting differ
from your outdoor painting in terms of how you apply the paint to the canvas?
