I see lot of coments about how we can sign Reus «cuz he's a world class player.Yes, he is a great player BUT did you see how mutch this season was he injuried? The period when Dortmund win some games and comme forward in the table was the period when Reus was available, rest of the season he was injuried. This is one thing, the other think is that Klopp say he will leave Dortmund in the end of the season and looking
for a new chalange.I'm pretty sure that he will leave to a big
team and will take Reus after him.Sterling is exactly the same type of player as Sanchez, just doesn't have the same experience, he's not fully developed.I think he can be a
first XI player
for us and I think will be great alongside Sanchez, replacing Cazorla when he will leave.Sterling is an English player, will be great to see him at nationat
team too, and we need as mutch as rest of the big
teams from EPL home grown players. The coments who say that we have Gnabry and Wellington make me laugh, really?Do you want trophies?Or do you want to see more young players and waiting year after year to confirm or just see how they doesn't
play anything?We are a top
team, and need performance in UCL too, not just participaiting.Sterling is a young CONFIRMED player who will definetly help us.Agree that he's not fully grown but he will be a great player.
This looks a good buy
for Tim Sherwood's side as they hope to fight the drop this season, and Traore himself would certainly benefit
from playing regular
first -
team football.
His fitness if Arsene Wenger was to want to
play Wilshere
from the start either should not be a concern as the player completed a couple of full games
for the under 21 side
first and the medical
team were very careful with his recovery process.
A
team that
plays week and week out against a
team made up
for this game, yes we should of done better was unlucky
first half should of been 3 or 4 up but just didn't happen then we just lost our way second half, the positives
from this game Jack is showing some of his old self
If you strip away the records

Team Maione is one of the top - tier squads you can come across in the Chicago Hoops League scene, and they were just the latest tally in the Win column
for these guys who — let us remind you — are still just
playing their
first handful + of games together..
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except
for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency
for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never
played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming
play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems
from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then
played until he suffers his
first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7
teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good
team can afford to have that many average players on their bench
playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as
for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
Mertz should never have been our captain in the
first place... who has ever heard of a
team that makes 11th hour transfer buys (Arteta & Mertz) then seemingly places those same individuals into prominent leadership positions
from the get - go... indicative of the problems that have permeated our clubhouse
for the better part of 7 years under the Kroenke & Wenger... what is wrong with the players chosen and / or the management style of Wenger that doesn't develop and / or encourage strong leadership
from within... Mertz was the fine collecting lackey
from year one... this is what happens when you don't get world - class players because many times they want to have a voice on and off the pitch and this can't happen when you
play for a fragile manager who has developed a coddling wage structure where everyone is rewarded
for simply wearing the shirt and participating in the process... not enough balance between performance and pay, combined with the obvious favoritism shown to some players regardless of their glaring lack of production... remember that Ramsey has
played in positions that make no sense considering his skill - set (out wide) and has forced other players off the field or into equally unfamiliar positions with little or no justification (let's remember when you read articles about how Ramsey's goals this upcoming season being the potential X-factor
for our success that this is the same individual who didn't score a goal until the final week last season)... this of course is just one example of many... before I hear another word
from Mertz I want this club to address the fact that no former player of any real consequence has any important role in the management structure of this club, yet several former Gunners have expressed serious interest in just such an endeavor (Henry, Viera, Adams, Bergkamp... just to name a few legends)... there is only one answer: an extremely insecure manager!!!
Up front we have a few world - class players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez is by far the most accomplished player in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go before the window closes or most definitely by season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved, as Sanchez's exploits have never been more on display than in North London, but the club's irresponsible wage structure and lack of real intent have been the real undoing in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some world - class skills as a front man, will only be as good as the players and system around him, which is troubling due to our current roster and Wenger's love of sideways passing... Walcott should have been sold years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should never have been brought in
from the get - go... both of these players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither are good enough to overcome such difficulties: not to mention, they both are below average
first - touch players, which should be the baseline test
for any player coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal
team... Perez should have been
played wide left or never purchased at all; what a huge waste of time and money, which is ridiculous considering our penny pinching ways and the fact that fans had been clamoring
for a real striker
for years... finally Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey is a direct indictment of this club's failure to get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack on Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but not
for a
team that has struggled to take their sideways soccer to the next level, as his presence slows their game even more, combined with our average, at best, finishing skills... far too often those in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always be the ones paying
for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the
team just think of all the sacrifices you've made along the way and simply reply... f *** off
Gibbs has been injured on average 2 times a season since
playing in the
first team regularly
for us
from 2009, all of which (bar 2 injuries in 2011/2012 which made him miss 17 & 11 games respectively) have been very minor where he has missed at most a handful of games.
The guy kept our season afloat
for the
first 4 months with his goals, scored the goal to secure UCL group stages, scored both semi-final goals to take us to FA cup final, is the club's top scorer, has been involved in more goals + assists than anyone in the PL, scored more goals than the media's fave Costa
from a deeper, wider position,
plays every second of every game as if it was his last, is always smiling, helped instill a hungrier work ethic in the
team — all in a
first season.
I don't really blame any of those players at all,
first mistake
from Wenger was his
team selection and secondly wrong players in a wrong position,, its quite sad with all their mouths and boasting of starting the season strongly and aiming
for the league just a waste of energy and wishful thinking, am putting the whole blame on Wenger, where is Belerin, why Ozil, Cazorla
played out of positions, you should know their weaknesses and strength as a coach, why must we pass and pass to score a goal, many opportunities came
from shooting distance but the players will always be looking
for the next person to pass the ball to, its quite unfortunate that a big club like arsenal is relying on a scrappy Giroud to lead an attack of a
team aiming to win the league.
He's a bit overrated I must say.I also don't get those who are asking him to tackle well. The fact is he's not a good tackler.I fear Wenger has made him untouchable in our
team such that even if he
plays badly he still starts.I mean if people are saying he's not a DM in the
first place then is he also a CM?If he's a CM does he have the quality to
play along side a DM?These are the questions we need to ask ourselves. If he's a CM then he's good at distributing
from deep and also up top but he can't hold thd ball in tight spaces or dribble which is very important. If he's a DM then he simply can't defend. That's why
for us to be successful in the long term with him we need a hybrid midfielder or what I call a defensive box to box midfielder.
We lost against Watford we expect to win against Chelsea are we serious???? I dreamed we lost 4 1 I could not watch the match after we let the second in that nightmare was on I thought >> >> > as
for that
first goal it should not have stood as the goal came
from dangerous
play >> >> > unfortunately the
team fell apart the unity has gone out the window >> >> players make school errors yet they earn 100 000 a week crazy carry on >> >> > I am sick of it I have had it with this punch >> > embarrassing carry on cant defend cant attack they only thing they can do is dwell with the ball side ways I am sick of this dwelling about with the ball
Why is this even an issue? We make some we buy some like we've always done. It's not like we've ever had a full
team or
first eleven
playing for Arsenal where all the player actually came through our ranks and were not bought
from foreign countries to come through our ranks. The fact is Arsenal give youngsters a chance time and time again such that even if they're average and were destined to be world class and they become world class then that's where the saying that» We don't buy superstars, we make them» arises. They continually give youngsters a chance that's the reason and we are unlike so many
teams out there.
The Arsenal
team that Arsene Wenger picked
for the match at Anfield yesterday were absolutely awful in the
first half and were extremely lucky to be only 2 goals down at the break, but although some players have complained that they just weren't ready, Wenger believes that the slow start was because they didn't
play a game last week, and suffered
from «a lack of competition».
«What I was really hoping

team football again last year.
We should do a rating

from now till the end of season COYG

The young Brazilian winger, who can also

According to a report in the Daily Star the 21 - year old is ready to ask
for a transfer away
from the Santiago if Zinedine Zidane brings in any players likely to stand in the way of more
first team playing time.
The Express are reporting that the Gunners are going to bring in the brilliant Petr Cech
from Chelsea in January, and the only basis I can see
for them to suggest this is because Thibault Courtois said that IF he was Cech he would leave Chelsea to
play first team football.
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer
for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of
play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and
play» mentality where players
play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly
from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance
play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball...
from our backs out wide, we've seen pace
from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted
play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone
for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was
playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as
for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched
played for the Swiss national
team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball
play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he
played with Coq Wenger always seemed to
play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as
for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been
played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National
team's midfield, where
teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary
first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad
for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this
team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this
team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
why did we
play Welbeck in the striker's role... no one can question his heart but to have a player with such limited
first - touch and finishing skills against such a game opponent with Lacazette on the bench is almost unforgivable... maybe it's because Welbeck tows the party line or maybe it's because Welbeck doesn't know anything but 100 % on the pitch, unfortunately neither of these qualities makes him a capable starting striker on a
team with any real aspirations... I can only hope that he was being showcased
for a move elsewhere, as there was some talk last week about some interest
from Everton... if he moved on that would be the only silver lining of this coach's decision, but once again it wouldn't excuse this club
for putting business decisions ahead of fielding the best possible
team to secure 3 points at Anfield
In their

Baker could be in
for a big future at Chelsea as he provides both goals and assists
from midfield and has already made a
first team appearance

It may be that,
for some of them, a loan move away

Klopp clearly enjoyed what he saw
from his
team as they
played for the

Rubbish, I know Wenger very well, he knows Europa is one of the trophies that Can take him to UCL next season, I knew very well he is waiting
for The last group stage Match of UCL
for him to know the third place
teams that will join Europa now he Have seen it I know very well he Will
play our
first team players now on, look at Manchester United last season They just focus only on eroupa and they made it, so As
for Wenger with His way of decisions I think he will start
playing our
first team playerS if he really want to have power over arsenal Baord Next season because they have lost a huge amount of money this Season because of no champions league place, I think if he fails next season he will see the door off
from his inheritance sit.
«When it's a friendly game,
for example now Koscielny goes to the French national

For me the most disgusting thing was, even though we
played a young
team they showed exactly the same lack of defensive organization and lack of desire and motivation as we see so often
from the
first team.
even when he suffered a serious knee injury, instead of accepting the fact that he would never stick his legs into the spaces that were crucial
for someone with straight ahead speed to succeed, the club actually contemplated giving him a chance to
play up top where his lack of physicality, size and holding up
play talents would been on display
for all to see... these are not the actions of a club that really cares about winning at the highest levels, but they are the actions of a club that wasn't interested in spending the necessary resources to purchases a world - class striker, which is usually the most expensive position on the pitch... instead we adopted the horrible phrase «like a new signing» and proceeded to allow this ridiculous experiment to carry on, which ultimately caused some discomfort on the training pitch and inside the locker room as players battled
for a position that shouldn't have been theirs
for the taking in the
first place... don't get me wrong, I believe that Walcott is a talented player, who can help a
team reach their goals, if their goals are relatively modest... just look at the
teams who supposedly expressed interest in his services and they weren't the kind of clubs who aspire to win at the highest levels... as
for the reasons why he hasn't been bitching and moaning about moving on just look at the wage benefits he receives
from our club and his obvious desire to enjoy the societal advantages that come with
playing in North London
for a club with worldwide appeal... so instead of continuing to try to fix a coat with a broken zipper simply move on and buy a new and better coat
Granite Xhaka saved us last night, i'm not a great fan of Xhaka but i thought the game changed as soon as he come on, on Wilshere i have been his biggest supporter but last night he let me down badly, he made no space
for himself he was just out
for the fresh air, i thought Sead had a lousy game to even do he scored, it was a sad night
for Arsenal supporters and football to watch that, there were plenty of alarms raised when we
played Ostersunds FK in the
first leg in the second half, AW should of known better to prepare his
team and should get off his ass and shout a bit
from the side line like all passionate managers do when they send a message to their players
And I know that players like Abou Diaby, Hector Bellerin, Tomas Rosicky, Francis Coqelin and Joel Campbell need some time on the pitch, while a few
from the academy would love the chance to
play for the
first team.
Firmino can

With a new approach and passionate leadership

Don't get me wrong Arsenal fans, because I love what Francis Coquelin has done
for the Gunners since an injury crisis forced Arsene Wenger to not only recall him early
from his latest loan spell but
play him in the
first team as well.
Mate I'm 17 nd I'm going
for my
first year studying business management degree next year, nd I'm
playing at a
team which is in league 1 if u compare it to English leagues (2 leagues
from the top), but anyway thanks
for the responses guys keep em coming
Well your righ with met spend but in amount paid out
for players no net were 5th but i agree our champions league performances have been poor we had some tough draws and the premier league is more demanding then the other leagues in strwnght of competition and games
played still excuses do nt win but that monaco loss left me shaking my head in cl we get theough the group but cant muster the strength needed
for knockout and we should be performing better were under performing
for the talent xhaka has frustrated me hes got the talent and
plays well but cant hold focus in games he drops off and loses his marks our academy is doing well but yes it is tougher now to break in to the
first team iwobi has done well but one or two seasons away
from being there if he does turn himself elite ever has to score or he will just be another ox but i think its been a wake up call to the club we finally have to act theres a wave of ideas to not only get us back to winning ways but become title contenders and i think give him the extension one year its a world cup year and that will also allow our players esp strikers who been very poor this year realized its tough to
play in englad and next year will have a better idea what it really takes to win here shore up some spots and depth and were in contention fail and the changes will happen but let him have one more year the fact were willing to spend shows me an upturn
from the decline
With this level of competition, expect some of them to wake up
from their graves, like Walcott (used to be deemed unworthy
for playing with the
first team squad) and Coquelin (used to be loaned out and was about to be released).
No matter how you slice it, you can't run an uptempo offence with Giroud on the pitch and that means sideways soccer and an over-reliance on crosses into the box, thereby negating many of the very reasons Lacazette was on your radar in the
first place... we simply aren't clinical enough
from wide positions to continue with that approach, which is why many fans have been clamoring
for a viable alternative to Giroud
for several years... once again this isn't an attack on Giroud, he clearly has some tangible skills, but his mere presence on the pitch greatly impacts your tactical options... Giroud's weaknesses are simply highlighted by the way in which our offence now moves in a more horizontal than vertical manner, which allows most
teams ample time to regroup defensively before a scoring opportunity even arises... a player of Ibra's or Benzema's ilk would have been far more effective as they had size, speed and the
first touch capabilities required to
for intricate link - up
play... once again square peg in a round hole
We've been so shocking with our
first team, that we might as
play our reserves in the league
from now on, and rest our so called «quality» players
for Europa.
If not

You've got to prove yourself but when you come in to the
first team you
play in front of thousands of people millions on TV and actually
playing for something important with big expectation
from everyone.
That came 6 years after the

He has just come off a two - month suspension, and though he is back with his club side, Somerset, his future on England's national
team —
from which he has never been dropped
for cricketing reasons since he
first played for his country in 1977 — looks worse than bleak.
Picture this, we don't come out of the gate firing on all cylinders, Wenger speaks of how there wasn't enough time
for the
first - teamers to build chemistry, several key players aren't even
playing because of Wenger's utterly ridiculous policy regarding players who
played in the Confed Cup or the under21s and the boo - birds have returned in full flight... if these things were to happen, which is quite possible considering the Groundhog Day mentality of this club, how long do you think it will take
for Wenger to recant his earlier statements regarding Europa... I would suggest that it's these sorts of comments
from Wenger which are often his undoing... why would any manager worth his weight in salt make such a definitive statement before the season has even started... why would any manager who fashions himself an educated man make such pronouncements before even knowing what his starting 11 will be come Friday, let alone on September 1st... why would any manager who has a tenuous relationship with a great many supporters offer up such a potentially contentious talking point considering how many times his own words have come back to bite him in the ass... I think he does this because he doesn't care what you or I think, in fact he's more than slightly infuriated by the very idea of having to answer to the likes of you and me... that might have been acceptable during his formative years in charge, when the fans were rewarded with an scintillating brand of football and success felt like a forgone conclusion, but this new Wenger led
team barely resembles that
team of ore... whereas in times past we relished a few words
from our seemingly cerebral manager, in recent times those words have been replaced by a myriad of excuses, a plethora of infuriating stories about who he could have signed but didn't and what can only be construed as outright fabrications... it's kind of funny that when we want some answers, like during the whole contract debacle of last season, we can't get an intelligent word out of him, but when we just what him to show his managerial acumen through his actions, we can't seem to get him to shut - up... I beg you to prove me wrong Arsene
never waste CAPITAL LETTERS on an article about Chambers at this juncture... I still can't believe that no one
from management has ever explained why such a frugal club spent so much money on him in the
first place... we haggle
for months and years with clubs
for players who could have a monumental impact on the very future of our club but somehow we found $ 16 million
for someone who couldn't regularly crack a Southampton lineup (very fishy)... don't get me wrong, I like what he showed at times last season in Middlesbourogh but
from the handful of games I watched him
play I still have some serious questions about his consistency as a back - line player in the EPL; as such he should prove himself on loan
for another season, making sure that he goes to a
team that wants him in the starting 11... bottom line, let's not get bogged down with the semantics of peripheral players and focus on the real task at hand = figure out who the hell is going to be our starting 11
for the foreseeable future, which means getting contracts signed, getting rid of a lot of deadwood and bringing in talented players into the positions which truly need upgrading... the rest is just unnecessary noise
We'll recap all of the action
from the final Sunday of the season below, but
first want to give a Thank You to all of the
Teams for playing this Summer!
So
Team Golman will get credit
