Participants who positively endorsed this item were asked to identify the family member / s with the
gambling problem from an extensive list of immediate and extended family members.
Mr. Anderson has experience working with diverse populations, and has completed and received a certificate for training
from the office of
problem gambling.
It confirms the findings
from previous studies about the co-occurrence of the two problematic behaviours -
problem gambling and family violence - and is the first to empirically explore the relationship between these two
problem behaviours.
